Hi everyone!
I’m having an split issue. The operation is pretty simple: there is these extrusions that a use as cutting objects of a nurbs surface. However when I split, some parts of the surface that was outside the split area are opening some holes. Any thoughts?
Difficult to know what’s happening from your images only, can you post just the surface you are splitting and the two cutting objects as a .3dm file?

I think the main problem here is that your object is pretty large - some 480 meters long but the file is in cm, so 480,000 cm, and this combined with the fact that you have several spots in your edge curve where it’s extremely thin or comes to a full 0 thickness point (curves are anti-tangent at the joint). This looks like it just confuses the mesher - the surface is OK (sorta).
The main way I found is to change your file units to meters (accept the scale dialog), then the split parts mesh without a problem.
One of the two parts your splitting with will leave a hairline spot on the main surface as it’s not completely to the outside; there are several other areas that are also very thin. So I might try actually untrimming the main surface and fixing the outer border so it avoids the ultra thin and anti-tangent spots. Then meshing should work better.
