Spiral curves radiating from a single point on a surface/mesh

Hello, i’m replicating this pavilion for a school project, i want to do it in layers. First layer of course is the lattice structure which i have made easily. I have problems with these spirals that radiate from the same point. I dont know where to start even. Please help im in a big problem!

Looking at your question,

  • the top the construction seems to be circle where on regular distances there are curves (twisted/helix ) (like a twisted umbrella)

So I would start with finding how to design 1 such curve. Search the forum for twisted curves, helix, etc.
As soon you have 1, you can use revolution to have x curves around a central axis
Use a flat plane to cut off the top. Connect end points to a circle
For botteom side create the bottom curve. use it to cut the “umbrella” curves.
And that would give a good start.

I’ve done something similar to what @Eef_Weenink suggested. Perhaps it can give you some direction for your school project. If your geometry cannot overlap, each layer will need to be spaced apart. Moving them along the Z-axis is probably the simplest way to visualize it, but a more accurate approach would be to offset each layer according to the actual thickness of the materials being used, whether bamboo strips or bamboo culms.
