Sort points in list of 4, but keep the points 'connected' by removing 2

Hi everyone,

Not really sure on how to call the title, but the problem should be clear by this picture:

I sorted points by the upper window, but I would like to have them sorted like in the lower window. Is there any easy way to constantly remove two points so that the lists of points look like this?

Thanks in advance!

a long dirty way to do this might be by shifting lists, let’s say you want to get lists of points sorted this way:

on the top list:
each point but the last one will be a starting point (shift -1)
each point but the first one will be a second point (shift +1)

then on the bottom list:
each point but the first one will be a third point (shift +1)
and each point but the last one will be a fourth point (shift -1)

[wrap always false]

merge grafted and done
