In the latest update there is something wrong with TextObject. I have included a picture of the malfunction comparing how it used to be and how it is now. It is exactly the same settings and I also made a OffsetMultiple to show how wrong it is now
. Since I have both Rhino 8 and 7, the correct one is from Rhino 7 in the image. But it used to work like that in Rhino 8 as well.

Is this something that can be reproduced with standard system fonts? It’s impossible to tell what’s going on from that image…

I used Time Machine in Mac and reverted back to an older version of Rhino and now it works as it used to. Do not know if this was a bug or a malfunction locally. But if the same font was used in both versions, what would be the difference with standard fonts?

If there is a bug, I need to be able to reproduce the behavior that you are describing. In a quick test with a font on my machine, I’m not seeing anything wrong. You image doesn’t provide enough information for me to do more testing - hence my question about the font that is used here.
