on houdini/maya, the two viewports are syncred while on rhino they aren’t, so building up nodes it’s extremely time consuming, especially by linking each thing one by one
or maybe a cluster library of different application with a search bar that can find the right cluster by text or something?
I also found that open ai it’s somewhat usefull to give out suggestions faster than google, although many times it’s just wrong, and you do still need to insert manually every node one by one
… what/which two viewports?
On Rhino you can synch viewports in the options:
Options > Rhino Options > View , in the right panel there is the “Viewport properties” flag the “linked viewports” option.
Or, if you are talking about the grasshopper viewport, please can you explain better? (there is only a single viewport in grasshopper)
… ?
On grasshopper you can double-click the canvas anywhere and it starts a quick search over all the components you can use.
It uses the abbreviation names, for example “ccx” for the curve|curve intersection component:
the 3d viewport with grasshopper and viceversa
like on houdini the 3d viewport and the node editor (“grasshopper”) are synched
meanwhile for the second part, like if I make a cluster that does x thing, and I want to reuse it in another project, without adding each node individually to archive the same thing
for example always on houdini, I have nodes or clusters, which can be opened in a sub menu to show its compents (you can do the same with your own set ups, not just predefined stuff as shown here)
the thing that i was looking at its something that can get the right cluster/node from a description or likely namings
