Solid text used to work but now has "Invalid test or unusable font" error

I am attempting to add text from the solid menu in Rhino 8 and it is now giving me the following error. I have used this command numerous times recently and it just started doing this. It doesn’t matter if I select another font (Arial is the default), it gives the error for those too.

Command: _TextObject
Error loading text: Could not load file or assembly ‘System.IO.Compression, Version=8.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089’. The system cannot find the file specified.

I think I have resolved the issue - I closed Rhino to restart it and discovered there was a new version ready to be installed. Once the new version was installed it worked normally.
