I’d simply like to place the solid forms on top of the plan. Not sure what is going on. I’ve tried multiple materials all display settings. Checked the textures tab, everything looks normal. Also tried badsrf.

Apart from that, a simple 3dm file in addition to a picture is most often required when we need to debug something.

Also if possible, I recall perhaps on rhino 6 you could revert to previous versions of a file, is that option still available on rhino 7- It looks like you can only revert to last saved.

just to be sure you also know what happened here, somebody if not you used commands like BringForward (in steps) or BringToFront (places the objects completely in front), then these objects (unfortunately only hatches and curves) will always be seen over any other geometry which can be useful for several instances. you can go the other directions with SendBackward or SendToBack and ClearDrawOrder brings all back to its initial state.
