Solid hatch: edge interpolation setting?

Hi @stevebaer,

I use Rhino for 2D graphics (I know, I shouldn’t do that. :wink: ).

The edges of my solid hatches are very edgy. Is there a setting to smooth solid hatches?

Hi Michael - yeah, it is on the pile to allow custom meshing for solid hatches -

RH-67216 Hatch: Allow custom mesh settings

I added a link back to this topic to the comments…

(but I cannot get one so far that is quite as loosely meshed as what you show)

Hi Michael - thanks - that is helpful, I’ll add this example to the bug track item - here’s what I get hatching a new circle of the same radius - your curve on the left, new circle on the right:

It seems to be related, in the current system, to the length of the curve, somehow.
