there seems to be a bug with _SoftEditSrf and the FixEdges option, the setting does not stick and the command line lists FixEges=No but the edges do stick. I can only set it to Yes and then No once i am in the command to un-stick them. If i then re-start the command, it repeats above, starts with FixEdges=No but the edges stick…

Hi Clement - I see none of that here so far in our in-house build of the moment… Is it consistent? Can you try restarting Rhino?

Hi Pascal, yes it is consistent, the surface i deform is closed periodic in one direction if that matters.
