Smooth surface transistion between to planar surfaces(5 edges)

Hi everyone,

since surface modelling never was a thing for me I am struggeling a lot with this task.

The aim is to connect two planar surfaces with a bending/twising one:

Xnurbs gives me the following result, which is close to what I want to archive.

I am not even sure how a clean isocurve layout would look like in this case, I imagine something like this:

Maybe the surface pros here could give me an advice. It would be really apreciated.
Thanks everybody for looking at this.
Have a nice wednesday!

Hello - Wednesday was nice, it’s Thursday that has me worried. I’ll take a look. You want the skinny end to be tangent and the wide end not, is what it looks like, correct? Does it need to be a single surface?

Hi Pascal,

haha, I mixed up the days.
Thanks for the file. You understood correctly and I would need it as one surface or if it is several surfaces, with a smooth transition, not like in this image:

Thanks again and have a nice Thursday!

Hello - as far as I can see there will need to be a compromise there - either smooth, or hit your curves, but not both.

Hi,
by hiiting the curves you mean something like filleting the sharp corner ?

Thanks!

In order to have a clean isocurve transition you would have to remove the point on the bottom. However you could just trim the pointed shape after blending the two.

Hello - it looks to me like the red and blue curves cannot both lie on a surface(s) that is smooth-

If the surfaces hit the curves, there will be a slight crease-

and if the surfaces are smooth (at least tangent) then they will drift off of the curves-

Thank you @pascal and @double.m.designed for the input, I will keep trying keeping that in mind.
