Smooth/Average Edge Loop

Is there already an available tool for quickly smoothing out a closed single edge loop (example, the blue points? Currently the workflow is deleting the face loops and bridging back, just wondered if there was already a quick utility for this.

So, the blue edge would end up having the average point location of the corresponding points on adjacent loops.

that appears to be the fastest path atm…

another less fast way, select the edge, scale to zero with gumball in the z direction then move it using the between snap to locate it in the center between those two edges.
BUT… this only works for planar sections.

for non planar sections, you will delete and bridge with 2 segments.
