Smartgeometry workshop and conference, Toronto, Canada

Coming May 7-12, sg2018: Machine Minds by smartgeometry in Toronto, Canada. The sg2018 workshop and conference is a gathering of the global community of innovators and pioneers in architecture, design, and engineering.

The Workshop is a unique creative cauldron attracting attendees from across the world of academia, professional practice and industry. Workshop participants come together for four intensive days of design and collaboration.

The Workshop is organized around clusters, each a unique hub of expertise, comprised of people, knowledge, tools, and materials.

Applications for cluster participants are now open.

Each applicant must submit an example selection of past work and select a preference for Workshop Clusters. The more interesting and compelling your past work and current interests, the better chance you have of getting accepted to the sg2018 Workshop. More information on the Workshop Clusters

The fee for the workshop is $1500 CAD. (Limited scholarships are available, but competitive.) This fee includes the tutoring during the workshop, workshop materials, and evening lectures. It also includes attendance (including lunch and refreshments) to the conference and the reception (including drinks, finger food, and entertainment). Travel and hotel accommodations are not included in the workshop fee.

The host for sg2018 is the University of Toronto, John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design.
