Slow splash screen

Opening V6 WIP takes much longer than opening V5 on this same computer (new MacBook Pro, 15", ATI Radeon Pro 555X 4096 MB). The splash screen is slow (10-15 seconds… “Initializing”)…

Yes. It’s loading up lots more code.
Performance will be worked on during the WIP process cycle.
