I have a Rhino file (~36 MB) with 2 meshes and 2 block instances of the same, which takes 18 seconds to save on a 10’ rpm harddisk and - tadaa! - 18 seconds on a Sata2 SSD disk.
When there’s no difference in time to save to disk it must be Rhino which is slow to save. But why? Is there something that I can do to speed things up?
I mean, as it is now it wouldn’t be quicker to save even if I’d get myself a M.2 NVMe SSD card which should be ~R4/W10 times faster than a Sata SSD.
