Slow Saving in Rhino 8

Hi all,

since the update from 7, saving files has become very slow. For a 5mb file, it sometimes takes up to 40s to save. Other times, it takes less than a second.

I disabled the compression setting, but to no avail.I save the files locally, but they are uploaded to plcoud. Yet, turning off pcloud itself does not improve the situation.

Hi Terribel -

That looks fine, but since that’s not something I’m experiencing here, what happens when you disable the 3rd party plug-ins and restart Rhino?

Thanks Wim, didn’t think about that. Indeed, problem does not occur when grasshopper and its plugins are not loaded. Will look into which one causes the issue this weekend. Perhaps Vray.
