Slow File Reads

Since last fall, I have had the problem that it starts to take longer and longer … to read Rhino files as I use the system. Eventually, I reach the point where it takes five minutes to read a 5MB file. I have to do a reboot of the system to reset.

The reboot requirement would suggest it’s a Mac problem. But I don’t see it on with any other application.

Perhaps start by copy&pasting the result of the Rhino command _SystemInfo.

Are your files on synced folders?

Nothing much out of the ordinary, but if possible you could try updating to at least Big Sur.
