SlideEdge is an unknown command?

Playing around with learning SubD again and realize I forgotten everything I’d learned. Anyway, there is a SlideEdge icon but Beta 7 says it’s and “unknown command”. Also, can I define how much a face can be subdivided?

There is a Slide command.
Here’s it’s icon.

You may need to run ToolbarReset to get a current set of command icons.

Yep. That’s what I’m using. Also tried typing SlideEdge and _SlideEdge . All versions result in unknown command .

Try running ToolbarReset and restart V7 as suggested.
The command name is Slide now.

SlideEdge became Slide since it can work on vertices as well now.

That’s it. Slide works.

In Rhino 7 WIP the command in the SubD Toolbar is still called “SlideEdge” and calls _SlideEdge.
In the same version/build. The command _Slide appear to be working OK.

It looks like it’s fixed in the in-house builds so will likely be in the first Service Release:

Hi John.
I have a similar question on the _InsertEdge toolbar icon, when you have preselected an edge. In my WIP version Rhino list “Unknown Command for” _Loop and _Ring. It might already be fixed in-house?

@pascal is the guy for this.

Yeah, that is a hard one… I do not know if loops and rings can be found after the fact but I’ll add it to the developer’s pile.
