when I try to slide multiple edges in subd they move at different/ opposite angles what can be the reason? their sliding directions are pointing towards one another. it started happening after I applied bevel edges

Please use RemoveSymmetry to remove the symmetrical feature from this subd object and then try again.

This looks like a bug to me. I’ve filed it as https://mcneel.myjetbrains.com/youtrack/issue/RH-90607
In the meantime, the only way to fix it that I found with your model is to select all the horizontal edgeloops > DupEdge > and SubDLoft with those curves to make a new SubD. However, this isn’t always a fix if you skip edgeloops. I don’t think Bevel is even required to make it happen too.
