Skewed Gumball on Planar Srf

Wondering why the gumball is showing this surface is not planar when it actually is..

Why would you think the gumball is showing it isn’t planar? The thickness handle is on the gumball centre, indicating it has no thickness.

Are you confused by the green blob? That indicates you can extrude in the green direction.

Jeremy

Here the gumball seems to show the purple surface is not planar ( Green Box shows up )

Here the tan surface is showing planar ( No Green Box )

Got you. Try increasing the number of decimal places in your unit display settings and see if boxedit then shows a minute y distance.

If the scale handle shows then it means it is not planar. Extra test: if you extract it and run _SelPlanarSrf and the surface isn’t selected then it is not planar.
