What is the best parameter to select for SU imports, Trimmed Planes or Mesh? Can someone explain the difference?
Also, I imported a SU model with several groups. However, they would not explode in Rhino. I noticed a stray line I wanted to remove but was unable to open or edit the group.
Hello - trimmed planes will get you a trimmed surface for every face in the mesh coming in - I’d say unless the file is quite simple and you need to work with those surfaces in Rhino, that there is no reason to select that option. It will be a much larger file under most circumstances and probably hard to work with.
