Is there a way to adjust the smoothness or preciseness when using Rhino’s “sketch” command? i’m using a digitizing pen to manually trace on old manuscript illustration. (Live trace in illustrator was too random)
it’s working but occasionally i’d like a looser interpretation of the pen stroke and other times a more precise interpretation. Thanks for any insight into this!
I don’t remember seeing that kind of option in the ‘sketch’ command - I only remember handling the ‘feel’ of it by pressing ‘alt’ to disable OSnap and sketch without tracking things. Also, the ‘DigSketch’ command lets you specify point spacing - apologies as this might not be of any help - not sure it’ll work as I myself don’t have a digitizing pen, however when you run the command, if you hit ‘cancel’ when Rhino asks for digitizing device, the command options show up:
Still ignorant - I don’t really know if the point spacing thing does anything.
