I’m using the full program since years now and am very happy with it. It’s a great renderer, and has the ability to convert Rhino models to 3D-PDF files, what makes it incredible cool. 3D-PDF files can be viewed with the standard Acrobat reader, you can zoom, pan and rotate the model, and show/hide any object or object groups. … and right-click SA9 building instructions and save the PDF file (3D-PDF apparently does not always work in a browser, so you have to open it on your PC)
There is now a free light version of SimLab Composer available, its only limitation (as far as I can see) is the resolution of the render quality to full HD size 1920 * 1080 px. which should do nicely for most purposes. You also may use it for commercial renderings.
