Silvereye is an optimization add-on component for Rhino’s Grasshopper.
It is dedicated for single-objective searches and can be used for solving complex, real-world optimization problems in the design space.
Silvereye is based on the Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm, a member of Swarm Intelligence family of methods. PSO is a type of a biological system inspired by the social behaviors of flocking birds and schooling fish. The individuals in the swarm, the particles, interact and learn from one another to find the optimal solution.
