Hello,
I’ve been trying for days now to build shoulders for a signet ring in Grasshopper. What’s important is that the shoulders should continue the form of the band ring (with small side flats) and I don’t know how to do that. Managed to build one shoulder with Sweep2, two rails and three band profiles (scaled) but it still looks terrible and the side flats probably will never be visible.
I’m wondering, is that possible to achieve at all or should I give up?

Good idea. Though I guess my setup is quite chaotic.
Your File runs with error and there is a lot of unnecessary data , please specify where is the curve for shoulder (sweep2 shape)

The 2 rails are here (green). The Merge next to the Sweep2 (on the far right) contains the 3 band profiles I was going to use to form the shoulder.
Not really. More like a classic oval signet, just with small flat side edges (like in the band) which continue in the shoulder (traditional court band form).
