Shrinkwrap and Quad remesh previews in wireframe only?

What if I want to preview in shaded mode to better evaluate the result ?

Allowing only wireframe seems like an arbitrary decision.

In fact yes ! But I was working on a model where the preview was stuck to wireframe, whatever display mode was active.

Maybe something is not quite right with the display modes.

I encountered instances when per-object display styles were “stuck”, and setting them back to “By View” just didn’t work.

Closing and re-opening the file didn’t fix it.

Does anyone else struggle with display modes ?

I just ran into an instance where the preview switched to wireframe for no reason, since there was no specific display mode on my original object.
