Hi! I have a surface representing terrain, and I want to show it with shadows on a 2D elevation layout, but I don’t know how. When I set it to a display mode that should show shadows it just becomes a flat color.

In a quick test here, that seems to work fine.
Please post both the output of the Rhino SystemInfo command and a 3dm file that illustrates the issue you are having.
