Hi all,
Doing a little bit of work with hatches and wondering what the shortest way is to transfer color from an image to a hatch. I have an example below, with an icon of some focaccia bread i was making… Here’s my workflow for it right now:
- Screenshot the image (Windows + Printscreen)
- Paste to Rhino (CTRL + V)
- Trace the image (Manual or vectorize, whichever is quicker)
- Hatch the curves
- Set color (I have a shortcut here (! -Properties Pause Object Color Object Colorpicker)
- Select the eyedropper and get the color from the image
This sixth step is where I can imagine saving some time. If there were some process that just automatically got me to the eyedropper with one command that would save a lot of time, since is a repeated process.
I have added an image below for reference. The one on the left is the image, the one of the right, my copy of it. So in summary, what I am trying to do is find a command that might quickly get the color from the image to my hatch.
Thanks for your time,
Paul
