Hi, I’ve tried on numerous occasions to change the floor texture and double and triple checked if there is a hidden infinite plane(which there isn’t) but for some reason my floor keeps turning out shiny.

You’ll need to provide more detail than just “shiny floor”. Post a file (vray materials included) or at least some screenshots of your problem. That’ll make it a lot easier for people to help you
