Sharing Model Info with non rhino/grasshopper users. Slow text display and bake

Good morning everyone,
I’ve got surfaces I’m rebuilding from xzy coordinates in an excel spreadsheet, the resulting surfaces are tagged at the center with ID number, Type, Status ect. Problem is the text tag display is very slow for the amount of text I’m displaying and additionally baking it to rhino is a heavy operation. (Not very aesthetically pleasing either as font size can be too big on smaller surfaces.)

I’m trying to share model info with non grasshopper/rhino users in a simple manner by baking the info and exporting it to a file format they can work with.

Can anyone think of a better way to share that kind of information. Thought about embedding user text in the surfaces but I’m not sure what other programs can see this information. Any ideas?

Speckle comes to mind, if you don’t mind going through Grasshopper. It is free and @idid is a swell dude.

You can actually import straight into excel a speckle query. Take this one for example: https://s003.speckle.works/api/streams/Byt7wUsgM/objects?omit=base64,displayValue, then in Excel go to “data” > “from file” (yes it’s ironic) > “from json” and paste that in.
