I’m currently having issues with the accuracy of the background color in my Shapediver viewer.
When I set the shapdiver viewer’s background color to a certain hex, the color that appears is always darker than what I set it too. I’ve attached an image for example. Here I’ve set the background color to #f6f9e4, but in the viewer it shows up as #ebf2c6. Please let me know how I can accurately set the background color. Thanks!
I cannot reproduce this issue at the moment. It is possible that changing some other viewer settings could create this difference, for example if you have tweaked something in Scene Settings > Advanced Rendering Settings.
Could you let me know if that’s the case? Otherwise, could you send me a link to a model and let me now what the configuration of your laptop is (OS and browser).
I solved my issue. The background color is tied to the texture encoding and output encoding settings. If you switch to anything other than sRGB, the background color will drastically change. Hope this helps!
