I use models similar to the one pictured and I am trying to see if there is a way to turn off the shadows on the inside faces of the vehicle model. I still want the front faces to cast and receive shadows.
Find a material that has the right gloss and reflectivity, not transparent but rather a suitable color to look like a window? Then when (if) you get the interior modeled you can put the glass material in.
I am not sure that is going to work for my needs. It is critical for most of the views that the glass is transparent.
Hi Chad - you can set the objects to not receive shadows, in their Properties, and/or you can set up lights that have shadows turned off. In this example, the former, used selectively, might be best, I would say.
