Shadow analysis

im new to grasshopper.
is there a way to get the shade and shadow area from doing the sunlight analysis?

The top half of this code uses the ‘Azimuth’ and ‘Altitude’ sliders (blue group) to position a yellow planar surface “in the sky”. The bottom half (purple group) divides that yellow surface based on the ‘resolution’ slider to create parallel “sun rays” and uses the IVRay component to find where those rays collide with either the ‘obstacles’ or ‘Srf (ground)’.
