Shaded view

Hi

I am having some problems with the shaded view. I’m not sure what causes this. What happens is that when I go into the shaded view the color of each layer does not appear it makes everything look gray.

Try changing this setting.

This is what comes up on mine.

GPU tessellation in Rhino has nothing to do with shading and is not the cause of this problem. The problem is that Rhino is not finding any graphics driver on your computer at all. Do you know what graphics card you have in your computer? If so, I would recommend trying to find and install a driver.

check if the objects have the color assigned by layer or by the object.

This is not the problem. The problem is seeing the phrase “Microsoft Corporation - GDI Generic” on the OpenGL page. This means that no GPU driver is being used at all and the a very old software based OpenGL driver is being used.

-edit- sorry Diego may be correct in that you should check to see how the objects have their colors assigned. That said, figuring out the GPU driver situation should be done first.

yes, we were both answering at the same time haha. I didn’t pay attention to the open gl capture.

Thank you all! I updated the drivers and it looks like it has been fixed!
