Severe throttling when object snap is turned on

When the pointer only enters the object area, the movement is fast for End, Vertex, etc., and extremely slow for Quad, Center, Mid, etc.
Data whose capacity exceeds 100Mbyte cannot be operated because the pointer moves to the level that it stops.

If you look at the video, it works well outside the object area, and in version 5 it’s very fast.
It works fine.

PS: If you look at how fast the pointer moves and how much computer resources it uses, it’s not a computer problem, it’s a program optimization problem.
The screen at the end of the video is Rhino 5, but the text was written incorrectly as Rhino 7. hope you understand.

Are you figuring out the cause?

You have 4 monitors, correct.
Could you have accidentally hooked a monitor to an Intel Integrated port?

You should have enough GPU memory for 4 displays, but, if you want to check, it can be checked with something like this, making should you are downloading the correct thing. https://openhardwaremonitor.org/

Also, there are new nVidia drivers nearly every month. Perhaps the issues thas been fixed.

I hope it works out.

Just because VGA has 4 ports doesn’t mean it has 4 connections.
I am using a 3070ti and it is a single monitor and the monitor is connected to the DP port on the graphics card.
If it was a monitor or driver problem, it should be equally slow in version 5, but it wasn’t.
Also, as in the system information, the processor is 5900x, and there is no built-in graphics, and it is amd, not Intel.

How does Rhino 7 behave it Elefont is not loaded?

Graphical display works differently in Rhino 7 compared to Rhino 5. Try updating to the latest driver for the GPU.

Hi Flawless -

Could you upload that 3dm file so that we can take a closer look? Mention the url of this thread in the comments field.
