Setting up Rhino trail on mac

Hello,

This is a really basic question! I have just downloaded Rhino for mac (the 90 day trial) and can’t open the programme. I’ve entered the licence code emailed to me by Rhino, but after this Rhino ask’s me for a password also. I’ve tried the user ID and password Iset yp to use this forum , but no luck.
any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks. Rowan

Hi Rowan-

At this point, Rhino is asking for the administrator password for the Mac in order to assign proper permissions for the place that Rhino needs to store the license file. This is the password for your system login (NOT your Apple ID). This is the same password that you will be prompted to enter when you - say - “unlock” a locked dialog in the System Preferences or Keychain, for example.
