Set GH-preview dimensions to a custom color in rendered view in Rhino 8?

Hi there!

This is probably a silly question, but I’m using the new annotation components for Rh8, and I haven’t yet found a way to display dimensions, generated in GH, in black while the viewport is in rendered mode. Using a custom preview and a swatch component, those dims display as black in shaded mode, but still show GH-preview-red in rendered mode. The render flag is checked inside the custom preview options. Any thoughts for what my silly error here could be?

Thanks!

You’ll have to bake the annotations…

ah ok, so there’s no way to change that while just previewing from GH? bummer!

the use case here is just for quick visual references showing variable geometry that contain throwaway dims, rather than finished drawings. i had hopes that, since the custom color was reflected in shaded mode, that there was some way to achieve it in rendered.

but, anyway, thanks for the response!

Hi @jovee,

This will be fixed on 8.14.

Right viewport is in Rendered mode.
