Hi, it would be great to be able to set default settings for the layers generated by the clipping drawings command.
Quick Context:
My company has a standard layer settings for section lines, ‘background’ lines, hatch color, etc. Most other drafters are still using make 2d and then manually dumping the output into our template drawings layers.
So for instance, I always want the print width and color for all silhouette layers to be the same settings, and right now I am having to do that manually to use clipping drawings.
An alternative would maybe be to select a destination layer for each output type. This would have the added benefit of allowing someone to edit the appearance of all visible background lines (for instance) at once. It would also reduce the amount of clutter that is created by each clipping drawing generating it’s own set of layers.
