high pascal did you have any chance completing this? didnt want to bother you with it since its also not so urgent now, but maybe you still have the will to implement the autoswitch and pack it into a plugin.
by the way how did you make the plugin did you use rhinocommon? could you depict in a few keywords how you process this? i mean just generally, its a bit of a forest for me i must admit.
