Self illumination via ShapeDiver API- God Rays

Hi,

I found some new very cool postproduction tools that are now avaialbe in ShapeDiver. The most interesting thing for me is GodRays and since that it can be used for simulation self-illumination. How to extract object in grasshopper that I want to illuminate in this way? Can you send some example?

I also found function selective bloom, but it I am not sure if it can works only on one object or apply bloom on all objects in scene?

Hello @Bojan_T,

on our help desk you can have a look at how the effect can be applied to an output. Depending on the structure of your scene, you can of course apply this effect to other objects as well.

Regarding self-illumination, you might also be interested in the outline effect which can add a glow around the object.

There is the selective bloom, which can be applied to specific objects, and there is the general bloom effect which can be applied to all objects in the scene.
