Selection menu is missing the layer info in V6 - Solved

Selection menu is missing layer info in V6:

When I do the same thing in V5 this is what I see:

I really, really need this functionality back please, since I make copies of exact geometry info different layers before I start butchering it with further modeling details. So I need to know which one on which layer I’m selecting.
