It seems like the Selection Filter now does a quick double blink when the filter blocks a selection because a geometry type is unchecked. I can understand that being helpful sometimes, but I would appreciate being able to turn off that behavior.
I am finding that I prefer to leave only points checked when editing a subD controller mesh to select only mesh vertices rather than mesh edges with Ctrl-shift-left click. The Selection filter blinking for every selection click gets old pretty fast.
Maybe if a selection is successful, the filter doesn’t need to blink? Though I’d prefer just being able to turn it off completely.
