I have a very irritating selection problem, and maybe is a bug ?When I select a part of an object, the whole object disappears, only moving the object in the window will show it again.
It only does this in Shaded mode, and the whole object is a STL mesh.
Anybody know what is going on ?
does that happen only in that file? i am pretty sure that was reported recently. i did not read the topic but i am sure something like that popped up.. what you can try is use 4view twice in a row to reset the viewports. if that does not help you probably should post your sys info along with a file that exhibits this issue.
besides that i hope you will post your model in the gallery at some point, it definitely looks interesting 
It happens with all larger files, but only in Shaded mode.
using the 4view window twice did nothing to resolve it.
