Selecting Breps with points?

Hello, I created a brick surface, and I am trying to select the breps that contain the points I generated so I can split them into two separate lists. When I use the point in brep command it does not select any of the breps. I also tried generating lines from the points and intersecting that way but that only selected two. Any help would be great!
