Hi
Is it possible to select a series of connected planar surfaces that are not overlapping and convert them into one that is trimmed to match the overall area?
Thanks

Once joined, select the joined surfaces and run the MergeAllCoplanarFaces
command.
Hi.
I also thought it was that option. However it doesn’t work.
See the image for the co planar faces i’m trying to join.

This is what I’m trying to achieve from a simple co planar selection, without having to select the face boundaries, trim and then use ‘surface from co planar curves’.
What’s not working? Can you post the file here?
Hi. Not sure if you’ve had the opportunity to review the screen grabs in the thread showing the issue. Is this possible to achieve without a edge selection work around?
Thanks
Hi. See attached file.
Make single co planar surface.3dm (56.7 KB)
As I said above, select all, Join, MergeAllCoplanarFaces. Done.
OneSrf.3dm (2.3 MB)
Thanks. I’d missed the ‘Join surfaces’ bit.
Sorry. You have been a great help.
