# Selected objects in rendered view become ghosted

how do i turn this off?? makes it really hard to see the thing i’ve selected!

Have you tried the shade selected highlight option yet?

i had that unchecked originally along with with `shade-highlight selected surfaces and polysurfaces` and with both ticked it still does it ):
