When we have hidden objects in Detail View (HideInDetail) and use SelAll (Ctrl + A) it selects not only visible objects, but also the hidden ones. This is not the case in Model View - hidden objects are not selected. Also, when Gumball is on and using HideInDetail, the hidden objects stay selected - not so in Model View.
Yeah… things hidden in a detail do not get a ‘hidden’ status, since they need to be visible elsewhere, while objects hidden in a model view do - the ‘Hide’ is global… in details the ‘HideInDetail’ objects are not hidden, simply not drawn in that detail - not the same thing.
