Section Tools Control Length?

Hello Forum, is there a way to control the length of Section Tool ? I have some horseshoe shaped seating I want to grab profiles from at certain points, the Section Tool cuts through part of the model I dont want ? See screenshot attached, I only need the section tool up to the blue line @rajaa can you advise ?

Unfortunately you can’t because it is one object and SectionTools use a plane rather than a surface to cut through objects. I’ll investigate if we can accommodate your request.
