Why when I try to use the clear sections form the toolbar icons, I get “unknown command”.
Double-check from plug-ins manager that the plug-in is loaded.
Yes. All the other ST commands from icons work. To clear a section I have to use “Clear Views” from the Section Tool menu drop down.
Sounds like you may have to reset your section tools toolbar if you updated the plug-in recently.
How is that done? That was a question I posted yesterday. Whether we can reset a plugin toolbar only without needing to reset all toolbars. Pascal felt that was not possible.
Hi -
Yes, ToolbarReset will affect all toolbars. If you change any default toolbars, you should always save them as a custom toolbar. I’m not a toolbar user but I suppose you could try renaming the *.rui file for the plug-in to something like *.rui.tst and then starting Rhino. If that doesn’t create a new toolbar file you might have to reinstall the plug-in…
-wim
How do I completely uninstall the plugins? I removed through package manager, then deleted the .rui file, restarted rhino, then reinstalled through package manager, but it did not reset.
edit:
I’ve now done this for two plugins SectionTools and PeterTools. And Removed all related folders. However, both the removed plugins toolbars and tabs are still available to be shown. Even when all there commands are now “unknown commands”. That seems like a screwy thing. Shouldn’t the removal of a plugin remove all aspects of it?
