Section Style Line Type Corner settings

Rhino provides section style boundary line type which doesn’t wrap around the corner of an object as shown around the sectioned object on the left. I’m not sure when this would be useful, and no matter how I adjust the custom boundary line types in the custom Section Style, I can’t get the corners to display like the rectangle I’ve drawn on the right, as (I think) anyone would want 99% of the time. (It would be even better if the corners were sharp, which the drawn rectangle doesn’t seem to offer, but I’ll settle for it looking like the rectangle here.) Surely there’s a way to accomplish this, but I cannot find it.

Hi @djhg,
It would be super helpful of you could attached a sample file for us to test.
Also, include your most current Rhino SystemInfo.

If you prefer to email me the file, that is fine too.
See Help us Help you.

Thanks Mary

Yesterday afternoon Matt verified found that the line corner settings (in the Custom line settings within the Custom Section Style settings) are unresponsive in Rhino 8, so if this is the case it seems to me that any object in any project will show this, and on any system. But my system info is below. If you really do need a specific project, please let me know.

This is the system info from RHino 8 with VisualArq installed, but this issue’s not related to Va.
