Section now groups

Hi.

While using “Section” command, if I set “AssignProperties=ByInputObject”, output curves are added to the polysurface groups and I need to ungroup curves and objects. Also “GroupObjectBySectionPlane” variables is set to “No”. In Rhino 7, this command was working properly.

I moved your post from that long thread…

I’m not seeing that here in a quick test. Could you post a simple 3dm file that shows this behavior on your end?

Thank you very much for your kind attention.

I attached my file, I just selected all polysurfaces and run “Section” command. Curves was able to be moved freely after the command produced section curves but after unselecting, when a curve is selected, polysurfaces are selected too.

I hope it is my fault and no extra work needed for your side.

RH-76578 is fixed in Rhino 8 Service Release 13
